Richard, John and I went for a bike ride along the Lune Valley stopping off for lunch at the Royal Oak Pub in Hornby. I think Jim Bowen use to own the Royal Oak a number of years ago.

HMS Royal Oak the Royal Navy warship sunk by U-boat at the start of WWII that the pub is named after.



The Tea from Woodies nutty nibbles was great, and well worth the 70p! However, in giving us the cups that the tea came in, Woodie made a good day into a great day, Thanks Woodie!
