The Plot
Back in January my friend Steph convince me to do the Edinburgh 10K on the 6th of May. So I did and today my racing number came through the post along with a bit of white plastic and some strap thing, not sure what that’s all about?
Excuses
Now training hasn’t really gone to plan but I’m certain fitter that say last time this year. I was meant to do some intensive training three weeks before, but last Saturday while mountain biking I fell off and hurt my knee, I’ve been hobbling around all week but should be running by the weekend.
Cause
In true Jamie fashion I’ve left everything to the last minute, so today I’ve decided to pull my finger out and pick a charity to raise some money. Rather than a people charity and as Edinburgh Council/Government fucked up the other day and dumped 100 million liters of sewage into the Forth I’ve decided to do the run for The Marine Conservation Society (MCS). Find out more about the MCS at the website, but for the girls (and blokes) here are some cute photos…
So if you would like to sponsor me please leave a comment below with your amount and your name. If you sponsor me £25 or over you will get…
A special certificate, a turtle (stuffed, personally I think it’s undoing all the good of the charity?!), factsheet etc…
Many thanks
Jamie

For every ten muscle-burning metres you limp on, I’ll pledge a shiny penny. What more motivation could you possibly need?!
That’s ten whole pounds in the kitty if you make the distance.
Plus I’ll personally berate you from the sidelines on the way round absoutely gratis.
All the best - good effort.
