On my way to work this morning I noticed the increase in activity for the 3rd of May Elections. So I thought it might be interesting to see which Scottish Parties have embrace Web 2.0 (The two way web) as a media platform. I did a search for the six main Scottish Parties*…
- Scottish Conservatives
- Scottish Green Party
- Scottish Labour Party
- Scottish Liberal Democrats
- Scottish National Party
- Scottish Socialist Party
*Oh I also did one for the main three parties in Westminster too, see the bottom of the page
On the following Websites…
Technorati - How many blog posts list links back to the political party website
Flickr - How many images have been tagged with the full party name
YouTube - How many video’s have been tagged with the full party name
Peter Snow

Firstly Terinea has no political stance on the forth coming elections in Scotland or the rest of the UK. This is just an exercise to demonstrate Web 2.0 movement and free tools available to business to gauge their website popularity. Secondly I’m no Peter Snow (Do you know he is cousin to Jon Snow?) so I’m noting going to make any indepth analysis of the results, just leave a comment below.
