I really enjoyed running today and I couldn’t of asked for better weather, dry and slightly breezy. I could of perhaps shaved a couple more minutes off my time had I realised I was near the finish line and picked up my pace, but that’s just down to experience. Robin (MD of Terinea) said he would double my sponsorship money if I wore a T-Shirt with the Terinea logo on it. I burnt the T-shirt a little when ironing on the transfer. With moving flat yesterday I was a little short on time to get it done. Thanks to Kirsty, Matt and Andy for helping Mike and I move, without them I reckon I would of been too knacked to run!
It must have been fairly visible because one of my business contacts shouted out my name.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored me to help raise money for the Marine Conservation Society, see comments from my last post on this subject. I think we rasied nearly a £200!
Will definitely be running next year!

Oh I nearly forgot, my finishing time!
Time: 00:56:40
Position: 3331 out 9000
http://secure.greatrun.org/results/quickresults.php - Race number 2436 if you don’t believe me!
Many congratulations to Jamie on completing the run in a very respectable time. You’ll notice if you blow up his watch from the photo at the end of the race that he was given plenty of time to recover before the photo was taken - obviously he didn’t want to have a photo showing just how knackered he was after the run!
Only Joking!
