My Dads flag, my brother to the left and me looking rather knacked already
I said to my Dad before we headed off to Athens that I feel the game was going to be won on individual skill, not tactics. I suppose that’s why we need some big signings in the summer. Players who can just change the game, like Stevie has done for us in the past, although unfortunately not on Wednesday night!
John Lennon’s Airport, 4am
5 AM Pint
Oh well
I surprised to see Stevie on our plane, I thought he was leaving it a little late!
Martin, Mark and the Dad
No idea who these guys are, but I think its a great photo!
We must of out number the Milan fans at least 100 to 1, if not more!
What a hat!
Another beer?
After not getting a ticket we found a pub with a massive screen. There must of been over 1,000 or more fans easily!
Greek Officials and UEFA - The Facts
- Our Mates who did have official tickets where not once asked for a close inspection there tickets. They said people with fakes just waved them pass officials.
- The fakes we saw could of been printed off by a 3 year old
- A local told us that every week they get into the ground to see Panathinaikos for free because the security is that poor, their aren’t even any turnstiles!
- I personally did see any trouble, but I did hear of some fighting the night before.
- We where treated like cattle at the Airport, people managed to board flights they didn’t even have a ticket for!
Anyway I won’t be booking a holiday to Greece anytime soon
UEFA just don’t have clue!
